Managing Your Subscription

How to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription

You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time without contacting support. Plan changes are made directly in the app from Settings > Subscription, while payment methods, invoices, and cancellation are handled through Stripe's secure customer portal.

Accessing Subscription Management

  1. 1Go to Settings from the sidebar menu
  2. 2Open the Subscription section
  3. 3To change plans, click a plan card and confirm -- the change applies in-app immediately
  4. 4Click "Manage Billing & Invoices" to open the Stripe customer portal for payment methods, invoices, and cancellation

Upgrading to a Higher Plan

When you upgrade to a higher plan (for example, from Basic to Premium), the change takes effect immediately. You gain instant access to the higher plan's limits -- up to unlimited accounts, strategies, and API keys on Premium. Stripe prorates the charge, so you only pay the difference for the remaining time in your current billing cycle.

Downgrading to a Lower Plan

When you downgrade to a lower plan (for example, from Premium to Basic), the change takes effect immediately -- Stripe prorates and credits the unused portion of the higher plan toward your next invoice. The lower plan's limits apply right away (a confirmation dialog warns you before the downgrade if you exceed them). Your existing data is preserved, but creation of new accounts, strategies, or API keys is limited to the new plan's amounts.

Cancelling Your Subscription

If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account is paused on a reactivation screen. Your data is never deleted -- you can resubscribe at any time and pick up where you left off.

Updating Payment Method

To update your credit card or payment method, open the Stripe customer portal from Settings and click on the payment method section. You can add a new card or update the existing one.

If you are unsure about cancelling, consider downgrading to a lower plan instead. You keep all your data and core features at a lower price point. You can always upgrade again later.
If a payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds), your access and auto-sync are paused immediately until the payment method is updated -- an "Update Payment" button appears so you can fix it right away. Stripe also retries the charge automatically; if all retries fail, your subscription may be cancelled. Keep your payment method up to date to avoid disruption.
