Navigate the Application

TradeLog is organized around a left sidebar navigation that gives you quick access to every feature. Understanding the layout will help you move efficiently between your journal, analytics, and settings.

The Sidebar

The sidebar is always visible on desktop and can be collapsed to save space. On mobile, it becomes a slide-out menu accessed via the hamburger icon. The sidebar is divided into logical sections:

Main Pages

• Dashboard -- Your performance overview with key metrics, equity curve, and charts.
• Journal -- The core trade log where you add, view, edit, and analyze individual trades.
• Accounts -- Manage your trading accounts, risk settings, and exchange connections.
• Analytics -- Deep-dive charts: symbol performance, timeframe analysis, model analyzer, and trade management.
• Calendar -- A monthly PnL calendar showing daily profit/loss with color coding and transaction badges.
• Recovery -- Tracks your drawdown status and provides recommendations when you are in a losing streak.
• Strategies -- Create and manage trading strategies, checklists, and setup classification rules.
• Prop Firms -- Configure prop firm rules, track evaluation progress, manage payouts and violations.
• Transactions -- Record deposits, withdrawals, and payouts that affect your account balance.
• News -- Economic calendar with high-impact event alerts integrated into your journal.
• Notebook -- A daily notes journal for planning and reflection.
• Blueprint -- An AI-powered analysis engine that synthesizes patterns across your trading data.
• Import -- Bulk import trades from CSV files exported from other platforms.
• Settings -- Theme, language, subscription, API keys, and account preferences.

Quick Actions

Several shortcuts are available throughout the app to speed up your workflow:

• The floating help button in the bottom-right corner links to How It Works (the full guide) and Help Center.
• Account selector in the journal lets you quickly switch between accounts.
• The Mini Dashboard at the top of the journal shows real-time stats for the selected account.
