Set Up a Prop Firm Profile

Create a prop firm profile with presets for FTMO, Apex, TopStep, and other firms

Prop Firm Profiles define the rules and constraints of your prop firm account. TradeLog includes pre-built presets for the most popular firms, so you can set up tracking in just a few clicks. You can also configure custom rules for any firm not in the preset list.

Supported Firms (Presets)

TradeLog includes pre-configured presets for the following prop firms:

  • Apex Trader Funding -- Multiple account sizes with trailing drawdown rules.
  • FTMO -- Challenge and Verification phases with daily/total loss limits.
  • TopStep -- Combine steps with trailing and static drawdown options.
  • Alpha Futures -- Account presets with specific drawdown and payout rules.
  • Tradeify -- Growth and Advanced evaluation programs.
  • Lucid Trading -- Evaluation programs with progressive scaling.
  • FundedNext -- CFD and futures programs with consistency rules.
  • TakeProfitTrader -- Pro and Plus account configurations.
  • The5ers -- Both forex/CFD and futures programs.

Profile Settings

Each prop firm profile includes:

  • Account size and starting balance
  • Drawdown type (trailing or static) and maximum drawdown amount
  • Daily loss limit
  • Profit target (for evaluations) or profit split (for funded accounts)
  • Consistency rule settings
  • Payout schedule and minimum payout amount
  • Safety net and scaling rules
When you pass an evaluation, duplicate the account and change the status from EVALUATION to FUNDED. Then create or copy the prop firm profile to the new funded account. This preserves your evaluation history as a separate record.
If your firm is not in the preset list, you can set up a Custom profile and manually enter all the rules. The system works the same way regardless of whether you used a preset or custom configuration.
