cTrader Auto-Sync Setup

Connect your cTrader account via OAuth for automatic trade synchronization

TradeLog integrates with cTrader through OAuth, providing a seamless connection that does not require installing any software. Once connected, your cTrader trades are automatically synced to TradeLog on a daily schedule and can also be synced manually.

How cTrader Sync Works

Unlike MetaTrader which uses an EA, cTrader uses OAuth (Open Authorization) to securely connect to your cTrader account. You authorize TradeLog to read your trade history, and the system fetches new trades automatically.

Connection Steps

  1. 1In TradeLog, go to Connections.
  2. 2Click "Connect cTrader" in the cTrader section.
  3. 3You will be redirected to the cTrader authorization page.
  4. 4Log in with your cTrader credentials and authorize TradeLog.
  5. 5Select which cTrader accounts to sync.
  6. 6You will be redirected back to TradeLog with the connection confirmed.

Sync Schedule

  • Automatic daily sync fetches new trades once per day.
  • Manual sync available anytime from the Accounts page (click the sync icon on the account card).
  • Only closed trades are synced. Running positions are not imported until they are closed.
  • Duplicate detection prevents the same trade from being imported twice.

Supported Brokers

cTrader sync works with any broker that uses the cTrader platform, including IC Markets, Pepperstone, FxPro, Spotware partners, and many others. As long as you have cTrader access, the connection will work regardless of your broker.

After the initial connection, you can trigger a historical sync to import past trades. This is useful for bringing in your existing trade history that predates the connection.
The OAuth token may expire if you change your cTrader password or revoke access. If sync stops working, reconnect from Connections.
