Private Share Link

If you do not want a fully public profile but still need to share your trading performance with a mentor, prop firm evaluator, or trading partner, you can use your private share link. It provides access to a read-only view of your selected account statistics without requiring the viewer to have a TradeLog account.

Getting Your Share Link

1. 1Navigate to the Public Profile page from the sidebar
2. 2Save your profile -- your private share link is created automatically the first time you save
3. 3Find the link in the Privacy & Sharing section (tradelog.cot-reports.com/share/...)
4. 4Click the copy icon next to the link
5. 5Send it to the intended recipient -- the link shows the same accounts you selected for your profile

How the Private Link Works

• You have one share link, unique to you, containing a secure token
• The link is tied to your public profile and the accounts you selected for it -- this can be one account, several, or all of them
• Viewers see a read-only performance summary with no ability to modify anything
• The link stays valid once created -- there is currently no revoke option, so treat it like a key
• No login required for viewers -- they just open the link

Common Use Cases

The private share link is commonly used for sharing performance with a trading mentor for review, providing proof of track record to a prop firm, showing a trading partner your results for accountability, or sharing progress with friends and family without making your profile fully public.
