1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TradeLog by COT-Reports ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

TradeLog is a trading journal application that allows users to track, analyze, and improve their trading performance. The Service includes features such as trade logging, analytics, calendar views, recovery tracking, and performance statistics.

TradeLog is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any proprietary trading firm, broker, or trading platform. All third-party names, logos, and trademarks mentioned on this website are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

3. Account Registration

To use our Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Payments

Our Service offers the following subscription plans:

• Manual ($7/month): 1 Trading Account, 5 Strategies, manual trade entry
• Manual+ ($10/month): 10 Trading Accounts, 5 Strategies, manual entry + CSV import
• Basic ($14/month): 1 Trading Account, 5 Strategies, 1 API Key, auto-sync (EA/API)
• Premium ($23/month): Unlimited Accounts, Strategies & API Keys + Priority Support

All plans include a 14-day free trial. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months of service.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all trading data and content you input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you.

Our authorized personnel may access your account data and records solely for the purposes of providing customer support, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring platform integrity, and improving the Service. All internal access is logged and audited.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service

8. Disclaimer

TradeLog is a journaling and analytics tool only. We do not provide financial, investment, or trading advice. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

All calculations provided by the Position Size Calculator, Risk Calculator, and any other computational tools within TradeLog are for informational purposes only. These calculations are based on user-provided inputs and should not be considered as financial advice or trading recommendations. You are solely responsible for verifying all calculations and for any trading decisions made based on them. TradeLog assumes no liability for any losses resulting from reliance on these tools.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeLog and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or trading losses, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Data Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate analytics and calculations, you are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all data and statistics. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on information provided by the Service.

Data synced from third-party brokers and platforms is provided on a best-effort basis and depends on the completeness of the data those services make available. Where a platform does not return complete data, TradeLog may reconstruct or approximate values, which are indicated where practicable. Your broker's official statements remain the authoritative record for accounting, tax, and regulatory purposes.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania and the European Union. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Romania, or through the courts of competent jurisdiction in Bucharest, Romania.

14. Intellectual Property

The TradeLog name, logo, software, website design, and all associated content are the intellectual property of COT-Reports. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

15. Referral and Affiliate Programs

TradeLog offers referral and affiliate programs subject to the following terms:

• Referral Program: Active subscribers may earn recurring credits equal to 20% of referred users' subscription payments, applied as Stripe balance credits to their own subscription.
• Affiliate Program: Approved affiliates may earn cash commissions equal to 20% of referred users' subscription payments, paid via Stripe Connect. A minimum payout threshold of $100 applies.
• Eligibility: Referral credits require an active paid subscription. Affiliate status requires approval and is subject to review.
• Termination: We reserve the right to modify commission rates, suspend, or terminate any referral or affiliate account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our discretion. Pending commissions below the minimum threshold may be forfeited upon termination.

16. Free Trial

New users receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment method is required to start a trial. When the trial expires, access to premium features is restricted until a subscription is purchased. Your data is retained after trial expiration and will be accessible if you subscribe. We may delete inactive trial accounts and their data after 90 days of inactivity.

17. Demo Access and Marketing Communications

When you request access to our shared demo account, you provide your name and email address so we can send you a magic link to open the demo and stay in touch about TradeLog. By submitting this form you agree that:

• We will send you a one-time email with the link to open the demo. The link is valid for 24 hours.
• We will add your email address to our marketing list and may send you occasional product updates, educational content, new-feature announcements, and promotional offers related to TradeLog.
• We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing.
• We will store basic metadata about your request (IP address, user agent, language) for security and fraud-prevention purposes.
• The demo account itself is read-only. Any data you attempt to create or modify inside the demo is not saved.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email we send, or by emailing support@cot-reports.com. Once you unsubscribe, we will stop sending marketing communications but may retain a record of your unsubscribe request so we don't email you again.

18. Auto-Sync and Data Timing

TradeLog's auto-sync feature operates on a near-real-time basis. Synchronized information — including trades, open positions, and risk settings — may be subject to a short delay, typically ranging from a few seconds up to approximately one minute, depending on your trading platform, internet connection, and prevailing market conditions. TradeLog does not warrant or guarantee instantaneous, continuous, or uninterrupted synchronization, and the Service should not be relied upon for time-critical decisions. You remain solely responsible for independently verifying your open positions and account status directly with your broker or trading platform.
