OKX Auto-Sync Setup

TradeLog supports automatic trade synchronization with OKX, one of the largest global cryptocurrency exchanges. The OKX integration is particularly advanced, supporting SL/TP modification detection from your order history for automatic auto-tag generation.

Creating OKX API Keys

1. 1Log in to your OKX account at okx.com.
2. 2Go to Account > API under your profile settings.
3. 3Click "Create V5 API Key."
4. 4Set a name and passphrase (you will need the passphrase for TradeLog).
5. 5Under permissions, enable ONLY "Read" for Trading account. Do NOT enable trade or withdraw.
6. 6Optionally bind to your IP address for security.
7. 7Complete verification and save your API Key, Secret Key, and Passphrase.

Connecting to TradeLog

1. 1In TradeLog, go to Connections.
2. 2Find the OKX section and click "Connect."
3. 3Paste your API Key, Secret Key, AND Passphrase (OKX requires all three).
4. 4Click "Test Connection" to verify.
5. 5Click "Save" to complete the connection.

What Gets Synced

• Perpetual swap positions (USDT-margined and coin-margined).
• Spot trading orders and fills.
• PnL with funding fee calculations.
• SL/TP modification history for auto-tag generation (unique to OKX integration).
• Order history analysis for Cut-Loss and Early-Close quality detection.

OKX-Specific Features

The OKX integration includes enhanced trade management analysis. Because OKX provides detailed order modification history, TradeLog can detect when you moved your stop loss, changed your take profit, or partially closed a position. This data powers the auto-tags (SL+, RF, TP-Hit, SL-Hit, Cut-Loss, Early-Close) with higher accuracy than manual entry.
