How It Works
- 1Install the EA on your MetaTrader chart (drag from Navigator to any chart).
- 2The EA panel appears in the corner of your chart.
- 3Drag the entry, stop loss, and take profit lines on the chart to your desired levels.
- 4The EA automatically calculates the correct lot size and displays it in the panel.
- 5Click Buy or Sell to execute the trade with the calculated position size.
Chart Lines
The EA draws three color-coded horizontal lines on your chart:
- Green Line -- Entry price. Drag this to your planned entry level.
- Red Line -- Stop loss price. Drag this to your stop loss level.
- Cyan Line -- Take profit price. Drag this to your target level.
Risk Import from TradeLog
The EA can connect to your TradeLog account and import your risk settings directly. This ensures the position size calculation uses the same risk percentage and mode you have configured in TradeLog.
The Position Size Calculator EA is available for free download from the Connections page. It comes in separate versions for MT4 (.ex4) and MT5 (.ex5).
The EA respects your broker's maximum lot size limits. If the calculated position size exceeds the broker's limit, the EA will cap it and display a warning.
