Connect a Platform (Auto-Sync)
The easiest way to fill your journal — connect your broker or exchange and let trades sync in automatically
TradeLog is built to be an automatic journal. The recommended way to start is to connect your trading platform once — then your account and your trades sync in on their own, with no manual typing.
What Happens When You Connect
- Your account is created automatically — the first time a robot syncs (or you link a platform), TradeLog sets up the trading account for you; you don't have to create it by hand.
- Your trades import automatically — entries, exits, P/L, fees and swap come straight from the platform.
- The journal stays current — new trades appear after each sync, so your stats stay live.
Supported Platforms
- MetaTrader 4 & 5 — install the TradeLog EA (Expert Advisor).
- cTrader — install the TradeLog cBot.
- NinjaTrader — the TradeLog robot, imported into NinjaTrader 8 as a compiled NinjaScript Add-On.
- Tradovate — connect from the app.
- Crypto exchanges — connect Binance, Bybit or OKX with an API key.
How to Connect
- 1Open Connections (or Import) from the sidebar.
- 2Pick your platform and follow its short setup guide (see the Import & Sync help category).
- 3Once connected, your account is created and your trades start syncing automatically.
Prefer to Enter Trades Yourself?
Auto-sync is optional. You can always add trades manually with inline entry, or import a CSV file instead. Many traders mix both — auto-sync for a live account, manual for a backtest or a broker without a robot. See 'Log Your First Trade' and 'Import Trades from CSV'.
