Auto-Detected Deposits and Withdrawals

Besides entering deposits and withdrawals by hand, TradeLog can detect them automatically. When you connect a supported crypto exchange with API keys, every sync captures the on-chain deposits and withdrawals on that account and records them as transactions for you -- so your funding history stays complete without manual data entry.

Which accounts this applies to

• Binance, Bybit, and OKX accounts connected through API keys
• Available on plans that include API sync (Basic and Premium)
• Accounts you log manually or import from CSV are unaffected -- you keep entering their deposits and withdrawals by hand

How it works

1. 1Connect your exchange from Connections in the sidebar, using API keys that include read access to deposits and withdrawals
2. 2Run a sync -- either manually or through the automatic scheduled sync
3. 3TradeLog reads the account's deposit and withdrawal history over the same date range as your trades and records each event as a transaction
4. 4Open the Transactions page to see the captured events in your list alongside your manual entries
5. 5Re-sync any time -- already-captured events are never duplicated

How captured transactions differ from manual ones

• Shown in the coin they occurred in (for example, 0.5 BTC or 1,000 USDT) rather than your account currency
• Recorded as approved automatically -- they already settled on the exchange
• Dated with the actual time of the on-chain event
• Read-only: because they come straight from the exchange, they cannot be edited or deleted in TradeLog -- the only way to correct one is to re-sync

If nothing is captured

Auto-detection needs an API key with read access to deposits and withdrawals. If your key does not have that permission, TradeLog shows a prompt asking you to reconnect the exchange with the missing access. Capital capture is separate from your trade sync -- a missing permission (or a temporary exchange hiccup) never blocks or breaks your trades from syncing.
